In August I taped an episode of ER that I remember seeing many years ago with Ewan McGregor in it. I didn't watch it until tonight. In "The Long Way Around" (episode # 3.15) - Ewan is one of two cousins who robs a neighborhood market, killing the owner and holding the customers hostage. They include Carol Hathaway and a teacher named Angie who is played by Marisol Nichols! Marisol Nichols has a pretty big part as a FBI agent in the new movie "Big Momma 2." I don't usually go to comedies, but my husband loves them. The movie was pretty good.

Penny Belfour, who played the lovely ex-junkie Victoria Purdy in Leap of Faith, was on 24 last night. Oops. There wasn't a cap with her face in it, but I'm sure you'll remember the bleach-dipped head. She looked roughly the same and was playing the sister of Samwise Gamgee--I mean Lynn something. Patty Duke's son will always be a hobbit to me. Anyway, she lured her brother out to a parking lot in the middle of a national crisis and had some thugs beat him up and steal his wallet. I guess that was before she got clean.

I was watching Friends this evening--"The One With the Hooker." And I recognized the hooker! Jackie Debatin, aka Mary Beth Desmond from RaTT. The episode was filmed in 2001, but Jackie looked a heck of a lot younger.

Johnny from Doggone, hardly recognizable with his long hair and tattoos covered with make-up was in the "Locke flashback" on Lost and Eric from RTT was on Heist.

And the actress who played Linda Middleton (I know she remarried but I don't think we ever did find out her new last name!) was on Without a Trace tonite - playing, of all things, a housewife/mother, who spent her interview with the FBI, in the kitchen, cooking. And, in a major flashback scene, she was in the kitchen, cooking! Talk about being typecast!

My friend just gave me some more eps from the current US season of Crossing Jordan (so far behind here in Aus!) and who should appear but Alicia Coppola. This was her 2nd appearance on CJ, playing a different character. Both not nice people haha. Was also watching some random episodes of Las Vegas on DVD and there she was again, in season 2. Again, playing someone not-so-nice. Also, look who's in a season 1 ep of LV (oddly enough, first time I saw Blind Justice, I recognised him as 'Pineapple Shirt Guy' from Vegas.

Hardly recognizable is right. I kept trying to find his lovely neck tattoos. They must have covered them with make-up and--you know--hair. Make-up people are really good at covering tattoos. I remember when my friend was on an episode of Northern Exposure, the lady who did her make-up told me about how she always had to cover a tattoo on Ed's back whenever he had a scene without his shirt (as he did in the episode I saw filmed). She also had to constantly touch up his roots. They were light brown and didn't really match the black his hair was supposed to be. Sorry. Tangent.

Oddly enough, I find him more attractive in this shirt. I can't explain it.

Okay, so I only just watched the Las Vegas episode with our Tom in it and wow. It was only a couple years earlier but he looks soooo much younger and smaller! He's such a big nerd. Not nearly as cool as Tom.
But PINEAPPLE shirt!! Haha.
