Debbie Diament was on Crossing Jordan over the weekend and we watched Men in Black 2 and saw Sonny Famigletti just avoid being a snack for Jeff the Giant Worm who lived in the subway--he gave Will Smith lip service for saving his butt!

Hmmmm.... bad wardrobe in two series. Reno might get a reputation. Make that three series - in tonite's episode of Heist, I could swear Mr. Reno Wilson, aka Detective Tyrese Evans, was wearing that orange shirt and striped tie (and chewing gum to boot!) And here he is again at the premier party for Heist, wearing of all things - an orangy pink shirt! Someone has got to give this man some fashion advice! Quick!

I have Without a Trace on in the background and behind me is this annoying whiny voice and then I realized, it was Marybeth Desmond guest starring on tonight's episode. She is sitting in an interrogation room and I am waiting for her to say. "I get it....it's just cops looking out for cops"

I had that on too, but wasn't paying close attention.

(I just thought I heard them advertise something on Sunday Night and they said Marisol Nichols was in it.) Could be I heard wrong but will look it up.

I can get it again at 11 and it's a different one so I don't know which one you're watching. The one at 11 is about man who goes missing after his daughter dies 22 years earlier. The one I watched earlier was about a 15-year-old boy who gets mixed up in robbery trying to support his three younger siblings after his drug addict mom abandons them. PS. She's on the one at 11.

Tonight we had a rerun of SVU instead of premiere eps and of all the episodes we could have gotten- we got Marisol's I knew it was coming up the next time we had a rerun in place of a new ep, but TOTALLY forgot, so I only got to tape it after I saw her (or more accurately, mum saw her and squealed-I was reading). But I'm still so jazzed hehe.

I ended up watching The Singing Detective the other night, which I will not recommend. But, and I really wanted to post a screencap to go with it, in this movie you will see none other than our dear Dr. Galloway getting jiggy with it. His character was a doctor, and the patient ended up hallucinating that the dear Doctor and his colleagues all started to sing and dance The Hop! Definitely the best part of the movie.
I had three very nice moments captured as screencaps, but sadly, they turned black and re-saved themselves. If I ever figure it out, I'll post them here, as they were quite funny moments.

I looked at several of the current boards and couldn't decide where this would fit On Jeopardy the other night (my all time favorite game show!), one of the answers was the Blind Boys of Alabama, a gospel group founded in 1939. Didn't I read somewhere that Stephen Bochco saw one of their concerts and that is where he came up with the idea for Blind Justice?

Seems our friend Smarmy Clay has made another ING commercial. Might he be the next Mr. Whipple or "can you hear me now" guy?

I looked at several of the current boards and couldn't decide where this would fit On Jeopardy the other night (my all time favorite game show!), one of the answers was the Blind Boys of Alabama, a gospel group founded in 1939. Didn't I read somewhere that Stephen Bochco saw one of their concerts and that is where he came up with the idea for Blind Justice? Good memory! "Steven Bochco can remember the exact moment when he got the inspiration for his latest dramatic TV series, which will begin airing on the ABC Television Network on March 8. He was at a function to honor the president of Paramount, and the entertainment was being provided by the Blind Boys of Alabama. “They came out onto the stage single file,” he tells me, “each one with his hand on the shoulder of the guy in front of him, and I thought that display of trust in each other was very moving. Then they performed, and of course they were amazing. And I found myself thinking: Most people don’t experience blindness in the normal course of their lives; most of us don’t know people who are blind or think about what it is to be blind. The blind are almost an invisible minority. How extraordinary would it be to portray a cop who is blinded in the line of duty and, rather than accepting a diminished role in life, decides to fight to get his job back and let the world know that he isn’t lessened by blindness, but changed by it?” The full article is available at the following link: www.voiceofthenationsblind.org/articles/113/blind-justice-tvs-latest-attempt-at-portraying-blindness

But I'm still so jazzed hehe. Desperate for BJ references on TV, the night AFTER Marisol appeared in SVU, she made an appearance in the new episode of Cold Case. Or, more accurately (I said I was desperate!), her PHOTO made an appearance. It made me squeal nonetheless. It also inspired me to use the word "sassy". A lot.

Thanks for this! I had read some of the articles on BJ from Voice of the Nation's Blind, but missed this one. It's a good one.
