OK, now I am going to make MY sacrifice and watch Marlon's Brando right now to try to pick up an "absolutely". (I am so glad this topic has resurfaced). I'll be back later with the results, or lack thereof! Thanks Kathy for taking one for the entire board! I am anxiously awaiting the results.

Ok - the results are in - I am 99% sure that "absolutely" does not appear in this episode. And the sacrifice was worth it - I just love this episode. It has my favorite beginning and favorite ending and everything in between. I just re-read all of the posts about Marlon's Brando and I really can't add anything else about it. This might even be my favorite episode. There are so many scenes that I love. And I love to watch Karen trace the outlines on Jim's face. (I would never have washed that fingertip again!)

I also did not hear an absolutely either, but I thought you would pick it up in some background conversation because like Jim you "have good ears." I always worry in that face tracing scene that Karen will peel off the scar. Oh well there goes the theory that it is absolutely in every episode. So far 11 out of 13.

There is one "absolutely" in In Your Face. When Karen and Nick are in the coffee shop, he says "I have to know if I stepped in between something with you and your partner". Karen replies: "No - what? Absolutely not."

Kyt, The data for Number12 Under the gun. When Jim asks Karen if she would still be his partner if they take away his gun, then she says "Will you call me from the road and tell me what happens" He says "Absolutely." Thanks for compiling it all.

I'm so proud to say that, coming from Queens, I say it like this: absoLUTEly! Check out the way he says it - not too different, NO DOUBT!

(4) Up on the Roof - none noted so far - (5) Marlon's Brando - Absolutely 99% sure it’s not here - At first I didn't want to dig up that absolutely thing again because I felt it was a dead thread... But since rducasey mentioned it in the ABC game I just had to post this: (Besides: how could we leave a case unsolved? ) I listened to "Up On The Roof" over and over again. There is ABSOLUTELY no such word in there. I'm almost certain...In "Marlon's Brando" is at least one "absolutely" which comes to my mind. I haven't checked for more yet. Karen to Marlon: "In prison, were you ever sexually assaulted by Lenard Mattis?"Marlon blurts out: "ABSOLUTELY not!"

When looking over this thread, I noticed an inaccuracy in my contributions for "Seoul Man," quoted above. The first one isn't quite right. Galloway doesn't say that if Dunbar wants to come in on his own, that's "absolutely" available. Instead, he says, "We absolutely can talk about this more on your own, if you like." So there are two occurrences of "absolutely," just not exactly as I remembered them. And thanks (and karma) to doppelganger, for finding the "absolutely" in "Marlon's Brando."
