Before I continue with the story of Ronald Elduck, I have to tell you that Judy took most of the pictures and did a wonderful job too. I wouldn't be able to write his adventure as well without them. Supper finally came and he couldn't believe his luck! French fries and something he didn't know the name of but it sure smelled good. Beats bird seed! Ahhhh! Real food. Tastey, yet satisfying. He finally finished that and though he'd died and gone to heaven when all of a sudden..... out comes dessert! A cupcake with a cherry on top! Hmmmm....so much for remaining thin. Oh well. Bigger is better. Shhhh.....don't tell anyone, Carlos. I'll help you escape after they're all in bed. "Doctor Doctor! Give me the news. I got a bad case of loving you! Where did you come from? You are sooooo bea-u-ti-ful! You know, it's been such a long day, I think I'll just have a little bit of wheatgrass juice and curl up in front of the tv and watch a show about a blind cop. I hear the guy that plays him has a name very similar to mine. Ohhh! Ronald, you weren't supposed to drink it all! More to come....

Oh, poor Ronald Elduck - his first couple of days of freedom and he's discovered women and wine already! Looks like he wasted no time making up for lost time!

Here's one for you, Anita and Barb! Alice, can you make this bigger? I tried printing it and it is really small. (probably not even 1/4 of the page). When you click on the thumbnail, the image is a lot smaller than the other ones you've done. Thanks. You're awesome with PS ;D

Oh Anita, this is the best thing ever! I'm dying over Ron Elduck! Karma for your creativity with the stories!
Keep 'em coming! (Hey, he can have adventures at home in Canada can't he?)
I think R Elduck deserves his own thread. ;D

Can't find it to quote it, but what play did two of you see? Actually, three of us saw The Producers by Mel Brooks. It was really funny. I want to find the movie. If you by tickets on the same day as the day you want to see a play, you can get them for half price. Choice is a little limited since they only sell tickets for whatever plays have empty seats, but we still had all kinds of choices. It was definitely worth it.

Always great to have someone who knows the lay of the land to show you around! Looks like everyone had a great time. Me, in that heatwave, no way. You could have just collected me at the fountain when it was all said and done. I would have hated to have been a party pooper but me and heat definitely do not get along. I hope there are further adventures of Ronald Elduck. I remember there was a cutout of some man who travelled all over the US and was photographed everywhere. And there was the story of some statue--I can not remember what it was of, some animal I think--that disappeared from a yard and was photographed at all these tourist places before it was returned home. Anyway, Ronald Elduck is a cutey. I can see why the hotel staff was happy to pose with him.

There was a book called Flat Stanley. I forget what it was about exactly, but he gets flattened and goes to different places I think. School kids do it now to learn about different places. They make and send a Flat Stanley to another child somewhere in the world and that child takes him places like we did with Ron Elduck and then sends him back with a journal of his adventures. Sounds like fun. I know we all had fun with Ron (the duck).

It's a takeoff of the Flat Stanley thing. You can see a pic of Flat Mark with our former Prime Minister here, with an accompanying story: flatstanley.enoreo.on.ca/paulmartin.htm
