Some one on another forum I belong to mentioned this site last week. There is some pretty funny stuff on it. askaninja.com/Did you guys see that info on net nuetrality? Is this for real? Natascha Apparently yes. Network Neutrality. I looked it up on Snopes.com, which is a valuable source for debunking myths. I'd skipped to some of the later ninja things, missing the first. But apparently, yes, Congress is lobbying with many large companies to give more rights to companies that pay fees. Say, AT&T will load faster and more efficiently than Beyond Justice... Whoever pays most will be most efficient. I say, look it up. Go to the website the Askninja guy suggested, or to Snopes. Here's the last thing the Snopes lady said: "As always, we encourage those who wish to communicate their feelings about a political issue to their governmental representatives to do more than add their names to an Internet petition, such as writing or phoning their representatives directly." May we all take a moment to panic and say "eep". A bad idea for the consumer, but a wonderful way for the government to make oodles. --GB

That would mean that www.brailletshirts.com (sole proprietor, me) would load slowly while goliath AT&T would load like lightning. Reminds me of the commercial that AOL (which I personally detest) has out right now about all people being equally fast, showing the everyday Joe or Josie competing against the professional athletes, driving home the point "Why shouldn't EVERYONE be faster?"

That would mean that www.brailletshirts.com (sole proprietor, me) would load slowly while goliath AT&T would load like lightning. That's why I meant bad for the consumer. I was thinking of people like me, who frequent ONLY the little places (and amazon...). It would also be extremely bad for new businesses starting up. And all the little companies of roofers and plumbers around town, I usually check their websites before calling, but they would no longer be an easy access if this happened. Ack, I say. --GB

Not particularly a favorite. www.pixelpress.org/chernobyl/index.htmlIt is about the Chernobyl nuclear disaster., twenty years later. pixelpress.org is a photo essay gallery. Not too good for me, but Lucy suggested this site, I hope you like it. Later, Carl

I have a new addiction. Anyone hear of Cricklers before? They're kind of like crossword puzzles, only not in the same format. This website, crickler.com, has several new Cricklers a day and I always feel compelled to do them all. What I like about it is that the website remembers you so if you have to stop, the puzzle is saved as you left it and picks up where you left off when you come back. Also, it automatically adjusts to your skill level after a time or two so it's never too easy or too hard. If you like crossword puzzles, this is even more fun. I like that many of the puzzles are taken from each day's headlines. It's especially interesting to me because they seem to be Canadian in origin so I get to see each day's headlines from a perspective we don't exactly get here. Great fun!

The internet filter at my work blocks this site ("Games") and I cannot get on. What computer geek do you have in your back pocket, eh?

Games are blocked from here, too, but my government agency doesn't seem to recognize Cricklers as being games for some reason so they're allowed. I've also found I can do the daily crossword puzzle from dictionary.com from here. If I go straight to the crossword link, it's sometimes blocked, but if I go to the main website and then scroll down to games and click on it, it's not blocked. I know they could start blocking these sites at any moment, but for now I enjoy them.
