Eight years ago when the tragedy at Columbine happened, the art teachers in my school district got together and simply drew on large paper to help us in our grief. When I went to New York last year, I saw the tiles that were hung on a fence near the site of the twin towers. For some people, it helps to talk about things, but I also like to incorporate art to help me when I feel stress. I am going to post some positive pictures daily for a while and hope that others will too. I hope this is okay with all of you. I just love beauty and after last week, I need a little beauty. I would like this post to be anything visual that we find beautiful, funny or uplifting. I will post one to start......

Taken on Lexington Avenue. So....I guess, when going cross-town, I should break into an eclectic celebration of dance?

I like this thread! Here's my Picture of the Day. It's my parents on their first trip to NYC about to get on the subway. Notice their cute little "come mug me" outfits and bags? They kill me.
