I've seen that picture before but never knew they were save. That's nice to know! It even was in the press. It happened a while back, though.

On Tuesday my Dad and I went sightseeing in Copenhagen looking at the old parts of the city. This street is one of the oldest: And this building is from 1730, one of the oldest in Copenhagen. There was a big fire in 1728 where half of the inner city burned to the ground so very few buildings from before that still exists. - Chris

I have had some of my NYC pictures done in Black & White and thought I would share this one. I have shown it to a few people at work and they all thought it quite striking. Would have been more striking if Jim Dunbar had been walking up the street! ;D

Kathy, I love this picture in B & W. I especially like the way the Empire State Building is framed in the bridge supports, the interesting sky, and the Dunbar residence right there. Karma for that.

Isn't it a fact that dogs see in black and white? This is home from Hank's point of view! I want to go there really BAAAAAD!!!!!!!

Dogs do see in colour but not in the same way we do. Also, you need to consider that dogs eyes are designed to function best in dim light, unlike ours which function best in bright light. They are, however, better able to distinguish between shades of grey. Dogs have photoreceptors for both blue and yellow light. And that is a very cool and lovely photo, Lindy. Thanks for showing us.

Add my karma to your list Kathy! B/W ala Ansel Adams. It can convey so much more to the eye than color can, maybe because we tend to be distracted by the color and b/w focuses our attention on the subject portrayed. Listen to me, the art critic But I know what I like and I definitely like this!

I really like it and what makes it special is that I was with friends from the board when I took it!
