Trivia for today: Did you know Howard the Duck was created by Gene Colan, and was a comic book? He also drew Daredevil and Tomb of Dracula for a long time.

Yes, I did know it was a comic book, though not until about four years ago at an antique store. Did not know the creator had anything to do with Daredevil. --GB

A couple of others I did like--
Blind Fury with Rutger Hauer. Kind of cheesy but he sure could kick butt!
13th Warrior--take on Beowulf with Antonio Bandaras. Not bad, could have been better. From the book by Michael Crichton. I liked this a lot better than I did Time Frame and I was so disappointed because I loved the book!

Mars Attacks. I still roll when I hear Nicholson say: There is still two of three branches of government left.

Grosse Pointe Blank.
I'm a Joan Cusack fan. She has some of the best off-the-wall shows
Another one: My Blue Heaven.

How about The Rocky Horror Picture Show? I love the movie although I won't get up and do the time warp, not even when I'm home alone.

ok, guys,, i really don't know if any of you can be excited for me,, or are football fans,, but please don't be upset w/ me,, i don't know where i should put this ( and if allowed,, any more significant steeler pix ) but i think this is such a great picture,, can i ask you to please humor me,, and not smite me? i have been a true diehard steeler fan since the '70's, ,imagine, in 1975, one lone 19 yr old from pittsburgh,, in college in minneapolis just a few short weeks in january,, when the steelers and vikings were in the superbowl ( IX?) and this poor young girl was shunned, and treated as an outcast by class mates and teachers alike,, and had to watch the superbowl by herself,, had to go get beer in -14 weather,, watch it on a very small black and white tv, and had to keep her hand behind the set to adjust the verticle hold,, remember tv's like that? so can i be indulged just a little bit for the next 10 days? pretty please???

As a long time New England Patriots fan, I can certainly sympathize with your story of your Steelers/Vikings experience. Living only 72 miles from PHiladelphia and therefore right in the midst of Eagles country, can you imagine how it was for me both before and after the superbowl to go to work last year? I was afraid to wear my Patriots jacket in public. You probably are aware of the reputation of the Eagles fans! (Forgive me if there are any Eagles fans on the board. I am sure that it is the actions of the few that have given them this reputation!) So, good luck to you and the Steelers!
