I agree with you on this Martha. I am a bit worried however that we have not seen anything about the dvd release anywhere else. I wonder how reliable that site is. I would think IMdB would have updated their information, or Sony Home Entertainment, or Darclight, the company who made the film. But all remains the same there with no mention of a release. Let's "keep hope alive" that that website is correct. The fact that they actually gave a date could be a good sign. I've also been concerned about the validity of the alert we all got regarding the release of Already Dead on 1/15/08. Tonight I went on the unofficial Christopher Plummer web site and low and behold...it is mentioned there as well as a couple of pictures from the set, one of which includes our favorite blond dude. Check it out! Hope the link works. YOu may have to cut and paste it in...scroll down till you see October 1, Already Dead on the left. Click on Already Dead and it will open a window with the pictures. www.christopher-plummer.com/index.htmlKathy, Karma to you for finding that. We needed a picture, and you came up with it. Now I am more hopeful that the DVD will actually come out.

Good job Lori - I saw that on my flickr.com account. Flickr.com wouldn't allow me to copy it at the time that I saw it, and I don't know why.

Well, it looks like I better circle Jan. 15, 2008 and get a copy ordered if they are listing it on this website too.

Guess this finally makes it "official" by way of a Ron Eldard Google Alert with a little fresh meat to it this morning (though sure that the majority of us got the alert one way or the other, thought I'd post it here anyway)
Suspenseful revenge thriller Already Dead arrives on DVD in January
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing the heart-racing thriller Already Dead on January 15 at the suggested retail price of $24.96.
The action-packed film stars Ron Eldard (Black Hawk Down), Til Schweiger (Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door) and Christopher Plummer (A Beautiful Mind) and examines the dark side of revenge.
Already Dead follows one man’s journey down a road of revenge. In one night, Thomas Archer (Eldard), a successful associate at an architecture firm with the perfect family, loses everything.
On that fateful night he discovers a burglary gone wrong, resulting in his son’s murder and his wife’s brutalization. Archer soon becomes consumed with the idea of vengeance by his own hand.
Synopsis:
Thomas Archer (Eldard) had it all: a beautiful wife, a powerful job, and a beloved son. But when an intruder breaks into his home, kills his son and brutalizes his wife, Archer’s ideal life is shattered.
When the police fail to find the killer, his therapist (Plummer) directs Archer to a covert agency that specializes in hunting down ruthless criminals. Now, hot on the trail of his son’s murderer, Archer faces a decision having devastating consequences in this suspense-filled revenge thriller
Special Features include:
