I think he's had more than one "obligatory action/drama film" that is a hell of a lot more memorable than this will be. Ghost Ship! Well, not exactly, I was thinking more along the lines of When Trumpets Fade and Black Hawk Down that were amazing films.

I just finishing watching the film. I kept wishing that there had been more background into the steps that got Thomas Archer to that place where he was so willing to torture another person. I loved how RE looked in the suit at the beginning of the film. It reminded me of some really nice clothing that we have all seen before. There were definitely some good scenes of Ron and the emotions that would have been there. I am now ready for some more.....RE of course.......

Maybe it's just me and I'm spoiled by having seen DOAS, Bash and Doubt, I don't know. I stand by my feeling on the film.

I finally watched Already Dead today. Certainly not the best movie I ever saw or the best work I've seen RE do but not too bad. The beginning was way too slow for me, had I turned on the TV to watch it I wold probably have turned it off again quickly since I don't have the patience for something that is so slow. Eventually, though, I got caught and wanted to know how they could possibly end this movie. I never figured out who the voice on the phone was or who was behind it all. One thing I miss is knowing who and what the man Archer beat up was. And how did he know who REALLY killed Archer's son??? All in all an Ok movie and as some of you have said, kind of blah but as entertainment on a lazy Sunday afternoon? Works for me!!! What's the deal with the deleted scenes?? Two of them are in the movie so why bring them again as deleted??? - Chris

And the voice on the phone was our own "Leonard Mattis".
