Detective Karen Bettencourt++for not pushing Jim but reminding him that they are partners and since he still has a problem with Terry he should share it. Lt. Gary Fisk++for clearing the way so Terry and Jim could meet at the first crime scene and for not asking either of them what was going on between them. Detective Marty Russo++for having the balls of steel to ask Dunbar why there was the bad blood between him and Terry and for not really expecting an answer. Lt. Gary Fisk++for being straight about the situation concerning the gun and its ramifications for Jim's career if it wasn't found. Detective Karen Bettencourt--for not standing up for Jim to Marty and Tom at the Krist house. Stood up to a civilian (Postglione) but not a fellow cop. Detective Karen Bettancourt ++ for "Anne Donnelly, friend of mine" (that's letting him know where you stand) Detective Jim Dunbar - 38 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 30 Lt. Detective Jim Dunbar--for accusing Christie of maybe contemplating the possibility of having an affair with smarmy Clay Simmons just because he did have an affair with Anne Donnelly. Christie Dunbar++for shocking Jim by actually walking out the door and leaving him, if only for a few hours, proving she was serious about needing changes in their life. Marty Russo++for not giving Jim any slack in his professional life and making him prove that he still has what it takes.

Lt. Gary Fisk++for the rousing welcome speech he gave Jim his first day, making it plain that he would have to work his britches off to prove he could do the job. Dr. Alan Galloway++for threatening Jim with a report that said he was evasive, paranoid and suffering from post-traumatic stress if he didn't stop with the smart mouth. Detective Tom Selway++for answering Jim's questions at the first crime scene (what race was she?) even if he secretly thought Jim had no business out on the street.

What the heck . . . let's take another run at MB.* Detective Jim Dunbar + ("Karen. You weren't going to draw me a picture, were you?" Funny, self-referential, and a deliciously wry line reading.) Detective Karen Bettancourt ++ ("No. Of course not." Also funny and dry, even though she had to have known he heard the cap click back onto the ballpoint.) Detective Marty Russo -- (Since there's nothing new under the sun -- or to be cited in Blind Justice -- I say let's diss him again for that supremely tacky Helen Keller crack.) Detective Jim Dunbar - 37 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 32 Christie Dunbar-30 Lt. Gary Fisk - 29 Detective Marty Russo - 18 Detective Tom Selway - 13 Dr. Alan Galloway - 8 *Sorry I had to resort to the old blindjusticecaps photobucket album to find the caps I wanted to use, but we only seem to have two pages of MB screencaps in our own album, hint, hint. Now need to make new, just transfer them over from blindjusticecaps -- they're the right size and crystal clear. I'd do it but it takes for stinkin' ever on dial-up.

Like pulling teeth! Detective Maty Russo++for staying true to form and mouthing off even after being warned about a rip

Christie Dunbar++for humoring Jim when he was fumbling around looking for reasons about why he didn't need to see Galloway anymore, agreeing with him "even though he was crazy." Dr. Alan Galloway--Come on, doc, spring for a freebie! It was clear Jim was not 'all right' and being the procrastinator he is , there is no way he would voluntarily sign up for more sessions! Detective Tom Selway++for confessing that he 'was not too proud to learn' from Jim, unlike a certain partner who shall remain nameless.

Taking a leap of faith Detective Jim Dunbar+casual clothes definitely make this man! Christie Dunbar--dressing more for a trendy place like Vertigo than for a cop's retirement party Lt. All this talk of the new fall TV season has me a tad nostalgic for the late great classic that brought us all together . . . so here we go, again, for Auld Lang Syne and for Jimmy Dunbar. Long may he wave. Detective Jim Dunbar + (For having the sheer unmitigated nerve to joke with his new partner when he was obviously behind the proverbial eight ball . . . ) Detective Karen Bettancourt ++ (For choosing to support her new and clearly problematic partner, thus ignoring the idiocy of Miss Chenowith) Christie Dunbar - - (For fixing enough food to sink The Nimitz on a night when all hubby wanted was a beer or three, and blessed oblivion.) Detective Jim Dunbar - 40 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 38 Christie Dunbar - 28 Lt. Gary Fisk - 27 Detective Marty Russo - 28 Detective Tom Selway - 13 Dr. Alan Galloway - 6
