I watched the "Jesse Stone" movie yesterday evening, but I'm sorry to say I didn't like it nearly as much as the other one I saw. The story lines seemed disjointed to me, and a lot of the police procedural elements were unrealistic, even by television standards. There were also some things that weren't very well explained, such as Jesse's problems with the city council and whatever was going on with the young cop. Maybe they were explained in earlier installments, but if so, it was poor writing to assume viewers had seen the earlier installments and would remember them that well. And I found myself getting annoyed with Jesse for doing stupid "guy" things.

Damn! But apparently they are going to show all 17 episodes, according to this article. So we will at least get a proper finale.

Sorry to hear that Life on Mars has been cancelled. I just couldn't get into it myself but I know several here liked it. I will never understand the "powers that be" who run the networks. What is with them, there is so little on the tube worth watching I agree with the Jesse Stone movie. I had been looking forward to it and while it was nice seeing Tom Selleck this one was not up to par with the others.

Yup, but I still want to see it. Any idea when the episode will air? I saw it listed as March 17th..........St Patrick's Day. I just found out that the Mentalist episode airs here on Sunday the 15th! Whoo hoo! It's not very often that we get to see an American show earlier than the Americans.
