I saw the preview after the episode. My comment was meant to refer to the absence of T-Bag and Tweener from this week's episode and the absence of Haywire and Abruzzi for the past two weeks (as far as I can recall). Yes, I'd be interested in seeing the AmEx preview, too. Me being confused again. Anyone who knows me knows this happens quite a bit. Abruzzi was in last week's episode when they were all saying good-bye to each other and going their own ways. Seems like Haywire has disappeared. I'd love to know what happens with him and hopefully his storyline will be picked up in a future episode. Here is the info for the AmEx Clip that is being offered: www.fox.com/amex/Name on Card: Fat Joe 800 Number: 1-800-528-4800 The clips shows Mahone and also T-Bag. Enjoy!

Thanks! Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, but I did find an extended promo for the episode here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVZCSny047k&NRI don't know if it's the same. I noticed the title of the next episode is "First Down." Interesting. . . .

I think you need the space between Fat and Joe and type in the phone number just like it is. Edit to say: Just checked out the link you posted and THAT'S IT. I was just getting ready to post it myself. Only difference is since that isn't the original the quality is a bit off and the original is crisp.

LOL @ Sucre. Love got him into prison and love is probably going to get him into more trouble. "Vegas" "You mean the city. Right?" - Sucre (this line had me laughing on Monday night) Had me laughing, too. Vegas is a big place. How is he going to find the happy couple?

For a moment I was wondering is there another Vegas??? How is he going to find them--check every chapel and drive-in wedding establishment all the while hiding his face and hoping someone doesn't look up from reading a paper that has their faces plastered all over it and recognizes him. And what is it with Oscar what's-his-name that Mahone mentioned instead of Scofield and whose picture fell on the floor? The man who did get away, the reason for the pill-popping?

Since this deals with Dominic Purcell (Lincoln) thought it would be ok to post this here. If anyone is interested in seeing "John Doe" (series that Dominic was the lead) the Sci-Fi channeling is showing 11 episodes on Sept 20 and 9 episodes on October 2. Here's the link to the "John Doe" page over on the Sci-Fi website: www.scifi.com/johndoe/

Tonight should be pretty interesting. I was reading something on the Entertainment Weekly site today, where people were posting their "break up" letters with shows. There were a few posts about Prison Break being less exciting and too unrealistic this season. (Side note: Some of the comments about the other shows,CSI: Miami included, were pretty funny, so here's the link in case anyone's interested: popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2006/09/what_series_are.html) I kind of felt that way with the 2nd episode, but last week's was much better and I'm looking forward to tonight's episode. I wonder if they'll be able to sustain the show's popularity through the end of this season or, if not, when the tide will begin to turn.

According to the ratings the show is holding the audience and gaining at different times during the show. Shmeep already mentioned the new episode tonight but one more reminder can't hurt

Well, the tide has turned for me. But I'm still watching it. It started to turn for me during the first two episodes of this season, but the third and fourth have been very good. I thought last night's was really exciting. I don't want to say too much in case some people haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I think Bellick and "Lance" are competing for the Scumbag of the Year award. I wanted to reach through the TV screen and slap each one last night.

I wonder if they'll be able to sustain the show's popularity through the end of this season or, if not, when the tide will begin to turn. I hate seeking out that "jump the shark" moment when I really like a show. Once I'm a loyal fan, I tend to watch even when the original quality is no longer sustained because I want to know where they're going with all the characters. There have been shows I had to stop watching after a time--either because they were up against too much competition from other shows I thought were better or because I could no longer take where things were headed, but that's not the norm. Hell, I still watch ER and I enjoy it even though it's nothing like the show I saw in its first season. As for Prison Break...I'm just as entertained as I was last season. Maybe even more so. The addition of Mahone is nothing short of brilliant and now we get to see the fulfillment of everything that was building up last season. Seeing the criminals on the loose shows us more about their true natures and each one now has an interesting story--and they're all racing for that money in Utah. It's like the same story only...bigger. Much bigger. I'm hooked all over again. My brother, who never cared to watch last year, is now into it. He sent me this in an email a couple of weeks back: "So why were the Prison Break brothers in jail? Have no idea what the conspiracy is. Is that guy that used to be blind a good guy or bad guy that's chasing them?" When I briefly summed things up for him, he said this: "Thanks for catching me up. For some reason, when it was set in prison, I just never had any interest in checking it out. Now that they're on the lamb, it's kinda got a Fugitive vibe to it." I think this show can go on for a long time, particularly if they keep reinventing things and keeping some of the characters unpredictable. Last night, for example, Nika had me guessing the entire time. I believed her no matter who she was talking to--right up until she tried to take Bellick's gun. That was so great! And then when she ended up turning on the Bro's in the end after all that...I did not see that coming. I also like how they led us to believe the entire time that Tweener was the one about to be caught when it was really Abruzzi. I suspected Tweener was safe, but since we knew the Feds were going to a motel and three of the characters were in motels...any one of them could have been caught. Brilliant, how Mahone found Michael's hard drive and is now looking at all the escapees the same way Michael did when he was devising his plan, figuring out their weaknesses. Heh. Michael helped them trap Abruzzi because of his information about the guy who had ratted out Abruzzi. Mahone knew, as Michael did before him, that the rat was the key to trapping Abruzzi and he went for it. It's unfortunate that T-Bag has now killed one and very possibly two people since his escape. That'll eat Michael up when he finds out. I'm kind of rooting for Tweener and Sucre and C-Note to make it because they were all caught in wrong-place-at-the-wrong-time kinds of crimes and were never a threat to society the way Abruzzi, T-Bag, and even Haywire are. I can see why people might wonder where this show might possibly go, but I'm not worried about that. I trust the writers because they have been doing a good job so far. People thought 24 could only be a one-season premise and look at it now.

The addition of Mahone is nothing short of brilliant At the end last night when they kept going back and forth between Michael's picture and the picture of the guy who got away from Mahone (I can't remember the name on the file), I started to see a slight resemblance between the two. I began to wonder if that's influencing Mahone as well, in addition to the professional part of his ego wanting to make up for the one that got away. And if they keep things somewhat believable. I kind of liked that Michael and Linc got tripped up (for a while anyway). I was kind of sad to see Abruzzi go because I liked the actor. I was hoping they'd get rid of Tweener. His homeboy attitude just annoys me. T-Bag freaks me out, but I think he's a great part of the show. I'm rooting for Sucre, too.....even if he insists on saying " mami".

That's why I'm so reluctant to start any new shows, especially serialized ones. I have to keep watching until they are cancelled. Funny, I'm the exact opposite of your brother in terms of Prison Break.

Little blurb in regards to the ratings this week:
On Fox, the interruption may account for some of the drop-off for “Vanished” (5.9 million), which paled in comparison with the solid audience at 8 for the serial drama “Prison Break” (8.8 million). That episode, which included the bloody death of the escapee Abruzzi (Peter Stormare), led over all for the hour among adults 18 to 49.
Looks like the show is holding onto it's audience week after week.
BTW - the info that I posted previously in regards to the AmEx preview will work for the new preview this. Checked it out earlier today.
