I'm glad the ratings are holding. Fox is really smart to start their season ahead of the other networks. It draws people in and gets them hooked before anything else is even on. That's what happened with Prison Break last year and it's also true for this year.

That's what happened with Prison Break last year and it's also true for this year. Seems like "Prison Break" has found it's audience and the audience is staying with the show. I do remember last year the ratings going out at times also. I belong to a few PB communities and someone is always posting the ratings that's how I've kept track of them. Fox is very smart showing new shows/episodes when the other networks are still showing repeats. Once I watched the Pilot of PB last year I was hooked on the show. Another great move is when they were showing the marathons after there was a break in the episodes. It refreshes the memory of the fans and brings in new fans.

I saw a promo for tonight's episode and noticed the character "Bill Kim" looks and sounds a lot like "Don Yun" from "Seoul Man."

Good eyes, MLM! Even with the dark glasses and the slicked back hair, I think you nailed our boy!
That really was quite a tense episode tonite and I love the dimension the Feds are bringing to this game. While I really wondered how much they were going to be able to do with the storyline outside the confines of the prison, there has been no let down at all. They've had absolutely no difficulty in throwing every single curve ball possible in our direction! Just when you think you might have it figured out....they shoot us another one.
I may have started out wondering about Michael and Linc...but I don't find either of them emotionally "attachable"....the character I have become very attached to is Sucre.

Here's the TWoP recaplet of last night's episode:
After last week's action-packed episode, this one feels like a little plateau -- a chance for the show to catch its breath and lay down the groundwork for the next big, dramatic episode. In no particular order, here's what happened:
Kellerman continues to display his dazzling, evil genius by positioning "Lance" the recovering addict as Dr. Sara's new gay best friend. Not only does this give him access to Dr. Sara's apartment, it also prevents him from being hunted down and killed by Michael/Sara 'shippers.
Mahone continues to be freakishly brilliant, going so far as to piece together the whole D.B. Cooper thing in ten minutes. He spends the resulting spare time getting snippy with his dealer and staring at his birdbath, no doubt wondering if there's room for Michael's corpse below it. Good to know he's planning ahead.
Tweener is apparently quite the tiger between the sheets, if Debra Jean's reaction to seeing his mug shot is anything to go by. Instead of turning him in to the cops, she merely suggests that he steal her car. He takes her up on that offer.
T-Bag demonstrates that he needs another nickname -- T-Bionic, if his feats of crushing strength are to be believed. He hops to the exact Utah town where the loot is buried, nicks the map to the ranch, intimidates Tweener, and muscles his way out of the car trunk that Michael and Linc locked him in.
The Unspooling of Michael Scofield continues as he realizes getting the loot will not be so easy as he had hoped it would be. In addition to T-Bag and Tweener's unwelcome presences, there's also the pesky matter of a suburban tract that's been built over the burial spot.
Sucre goeszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Sorry. The plotline some of you aptly dubbed "Mari-Snooze" appears to be over with her wedding in Vegas, and now he's got nothing to live for. Except, perhaps, the buried millions in Utah
So you see, there's a lot of build-up, but not a whole lot in the way of resolution. Enjoy the wait to next week!

Another reason to hate urban sprawl! Last night's episode was great, the first one in a long time that I really really enjoyed. In analyzing why, I think it was because there were four of them together again. I miss the interplay (can't say camraderie I guess!) between them all! I was laughing and feeling sorry for the guy who owned the garden store. He must have thought he'd hit the jackpot--3 escapees in his store at once! His expressions were priceless. I hope they didn't kill him, I don't think they did though.

Another reason to hate urban sprawl! Don't you though! I was wondering what was going to appear over the horizon. You just knew it would not be that silo. One thing that bothered me was it was toooo simple getting the map. Maybe in other state's you can find a plat map in a recorders office (here they are in a separate plat office) and they frown on people tearing pages out of county records! And such a jagged tear too! They could have traced the ownership of the land, since it had apparently changed hands, and would have found out sooner about the subdivision. (Sorry, I help people track down land ownership sometimes! ) Of course, they didn't have the luxury of time, the way everybody was looking at them. In a small town, you tend to notice anyone new. That and the fact that sorting through records would definitely slow down the fast pace of the show!

Not only does this give him access to Dr. Sara's apartment, it also prevents him from being hunted down and killed by Michael/Sara 'shippers. It was also mentioned on the TWoP board that the name of "Lance's" partner was Dan (or Daniel), which was the first name of his partner Hale, whom he killed. Evil indeed. Did Sara's dad, the Gov.-VP designate, recognize Kellerman at Sara's apartment? I can't remember if the two of them crossed paths before. Is it only me, or is the Gov. starting to get suspicious about what's going on? Between the aide/handler telling him there are things he doesn't want to know, Nick being dead, Veronica being missing and finally looking at the file Sara gave him on Linc (it was implied that he was finally going to look at it), there was more than enough to cause him to be suspicious. If he does get suspicious, does this mean he'll meet the same fate as so many others? Mahone continues to be freakishly brilliant, going so far as to piece together the whole D.B. Cooper thing in ten minutes. He spends the resulting spare time getting snippy with his dealer and staring at his birdbath, no doubt wondering if there's room for Michael's corpse below it. Good to know he's planning ahead. So what's with his focus on Michael, when other escapees (T-Bag comes to mind) are much more dangerous? I can think of three possible theories. The first is that Mahone is a part of the conspiracy, so all he cares about is catching Michael and Linc. The second is that he recognizes Michael is the key to the escape, and if he catches Michael, all of the others will follow. But this doesn't add up, because he knows the escapees have split up. The third is that he knows Michael is the brains of the escape, and he is most interested in matching wits with him. And then there's something about that Shales fellow, but I have absolutely no clue about that.

That and the fact that sorting through records would definitely slow down the fast pace of the show! I thought that too! Perhaps they should have an archivist/librarian/records management consultant on the show. If they did, this would never have gotten through! Even within the confines of the show it doesn't make sense. That employee was so suspicious of the two of them. Why wouldn't he have been suspicious of T-Bag, who actually took the map? He looks way more like a ne'er do well, with the gimpy arm and cheesily bleached hair. Maybe because they were the second people looking in one day it twigged his suspicion.

Did Sara's dad, the Gov.-VP designate, recognize Kellerman at Sara's apartment? I can't remember if the two of them crossed paths before. I don't think they have met before. He didn't appear too interested in Kellerman. My feeling is that he feels an affinity with Michael, perhaps even an admiration for his skills with advance planning. I think he wants to get him as a personal quest. So I guess I go with reason number 3.

A blind character! A blind character! Made my night last night, even if it was a blind character "of convenience"! Also, I have a couple of questions about last night's episode. Hope someone can help me out! 1. What is the piece of paper that C-Note shows Sucre on the highway? Was it a map or something that he had got from Cooper before he died, giving the location of the money? And, related.... 2. How did the two of them find the rest of them in the garage? We know the map from the land titles office was gone. Good for most of the crew to be back together again. I am liking this show again, since they now mostly together again. God, T-Bag is awful. I cringe just watching him. The actor should get some kind of award. He is very good at playing a scumbag. Also glad they didn't forget about Haywire! Why do you think he took the picture--some remembrance of the silo and the possible buried money? He definitely is not all there, unlike the other characters.

I only have a second but I'll answer the part about C-Note. He was looking up what he needed online. He was in the military and knew how to get a hold of the map of the area. He made a brief mention in passing about that. Remember that nice lady with the laptop on the train just before he got busted last week? That was what he was doing. Okay...gotta go interpret. Swamped today!

2. How did the two of them find the rest of them in the garage? We know the map from the land titles office was gone. I wondered that too. I can't remember if they followed the kid in or maybe they were just cruising the neighborhood looking for the guys. Back to the issue of Kellerman mentioned earlier (did the gov. know him), it was clear that he had never met him before they were introduced by Sarah because of his reaction upon seeing him in D.C.Wonder how much he found out about him, especially since he told Sarah that she was right? And how did Kellerman get back to Chicago so fast to conveniently intercept dear old dad's phone call?

And how did Kellerman get back to Chicago so fast to conveniently intercept dear old dad's phone call? I'm starting to need a map for this show. There are so many states, and I only have a hazy idea where they are (I might know something is sort of west, sort of east, or sort of in the middle--bad, I know. But hey--I'm sure I'm not the only non-American viewer with this problem!) Anyway, I figured Chicago and Washington were close. Perhaps he has access to private, superfast jets in the FBI? We also don't know how soon it was--it may have been the next day or two when dad phoned Sarah.
