Well, I found something disturbing over at the Prison Break forum at Televisionwithoutpity. It seems that, while most viewers over there seem to agree that the Nick character (they have no idea what his name is)is "hot," a couple think he looks like George Stephanopoulos. What do you think? Frank Grillo George Stephanopoulos I had a crush on George Stephanopoulos back in the early nineties when he was Clinton's press secretary (who didn't right?) but...no comparison.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I thought his hair looked, oh, I don't know, messy, disheveled, too long, too shaggy, too unkempt. I like the Marty Russo haircut (not the Marty Russo shaved head) but definitely with the Nick Sarvann style of dressing (minus the wide tie!)
Don't get me wrong - I like Frank, in a dark sort of way and I'll admit that he is certainly adaptable and able to project the "softer, gentler" side of the character, although I think "Nick" has some alterior motives.
This show is so much more than I thought it would be. I think I'm kinda hooked, but it will never be a Blind Justice - nothing will!

The show isn't bad--no BJ by a long shot. I kept waiting for Frank to show up and then he wasn't on that often. What is up with the hair! Not that it is bad--just unusual. Maybe he didn't have time to comb or maybe he is going for the "natural" look. It was kind of wild. I like his character--heck of lot more compassionate than his boss!

So, last week, was I the only one who got really excited right at this point? Sorry. Found a site with lots of Prison Break caps and I really had to comment. As for last night...very strong episode. I knew where Michael was going to be found fairly early on, but that didn't make it any less rewarding when I turned out to be right. As for the Nick storyline, I know that Veronica is probably starting to suspect that he stole her videotape, but I really don't believe he did that. Just last week the evil SS guys were in her home. Obviously they bugged the place. Nick is innocent! Or maybe I just want him to stick around longer because all his deep looks are doing it for me.

The hair is definitely an improvement!!
I find myself wishing his character would have a need to say, "What was that all about?"
;D

I'm not sure if I understand the show, but I'm gonna watch it again, if I remember it's on The hair reminds me of Uncle Jesse on Full House.

I was so impatient to see his character appear. And I really started to enjoy the show this past Monday. I found myself wanting to shout, "He's innocent!" LOL when I realized Veronica suddenly suspected Nick. But surely they'd been together the entire afternoon, so I'm not sure how she thinks he managed it. I guess he could've hired someone... I don't really get why the warden changed his mind at the last moment. I mean, he appeared to have an attack of conscience, but would he really risk his wife's life just so he wouldn't feel *bad* about denying a prisoner his legal rights? Iffy, IMO. Especially with the threatening SS guys sitting right there, glaring at him. BTW I have to state my firm opposition to making the SS the bad guys in thiis show. I keep meaning to ask my bosses, former SS, if they're watching. I know they're all big fans of 24, but I don't watch, so I don't know how it compares. And the SS is the good guy in that show.

The lead actor in this (Wentworth something?) His name escapes me at the moment. He was also a guest star on the premiere of Ghost Whisperer on Friday. Boy, he does have penetrating icy blue eyes and a sexy voice!
By the way, if anyone is wondering, I didn't think much of Ghost Whisperer and don't recommend it. The general concept, and the specific plot of the pilot, both are pretty uninteresting in my opinion. Medium is better!

Boy, he does have penetrating icy blue eyes and a sexy voice! Wentworth Miller is quite a find. I wish I could have seen how his character on Joan of Arcadia would have developed but--alas--CBS went with a stupid rip-off of Medium instead of the very original show they already had. Really, they may be worse than ABC for doing that to Joan. On Televisionwithoutpity (I know, I talk about them a lot, but I really am vastly entertained by that site) they talk quite a lot about WM's middle-distance staring, which is not to be confused with the thousand-yard stare of impending flashback seen so often on Lost. But yeah, WM's character does stare quite a bit, but he makes it work. Also on TwoP, the person recapping Prison Break said that this towel will likely get an award next year for "Worst Performance by an Inanimate Object."

I think ol' Wentworth took squinting lessons from the master: Clint Eastwood. Feeling lucky, punk?

Last night was amazing!!! I got so nervous as I watched and then I started to realize they were never going to fit everything into one hour so we get yet another tense hour next week too! Wow. Riots, Linc saving the CO, the CO and T-Bag finding the hole, the doctor in danger, Linc in danger, Nick--good or bad? And what will become of Marilyn the cat? It was a lot to take in but if the rest of the season can live up to last night, I am officially hooked (not that I wasn't before, but now it's more than a way to pass a Monday evening).

Well, I'm glad to know that someone else was worried about Marilyn the cat! They really ramped it up last night, and I give great kudos to the writers for keeping the show unpredictable and twisty and sharp as a tack. On a minor note: Any bets as to how they're doing Wentworth Miller's full body tattoo? I'm thinking it has to be some sort of decal, of which multiple ones were made -- how long do you suppose it would take for him to sit in makeup every day while someone drew that thing on him?! Oh, anybody know why the big blond actor playing the CO looks so familiar? And did you all catch the quick flash of Daniel J. Travanti ( Hill Street Blues) in the background, on the TV? More good actors added to the conspiracy, yum. I also love that it looks as though the whole convoluted scenario is being run by a woman, if those chin-only shots of Nancy from Thirty Something on the phone are any indication. Oh, yeah, I am totally hooked.

Oh, yeah, I am totally hooked. Yes, the tattoo is an intricate decal and it takes four hours to apply and two hours to remove. Read it somewhere. I recognized the CO from a recent episode of The Dead Zone, where he played Johnny Smith's dad in flashbacks. He also played Colonel Ryan in Over There; he was the one interrogating a prisoner for most of an episode. His name is Michael Cudlitz. At least I'm pretty sure that's the same guy. And that woman, the one who is always chopping vegetables. Very creepy. Yes, I officially love this show.

Memory kicked in, eventually. I was remembering him from Band of Brothers, in which he was amazing, playing a big tough sargent with a wicked grin and a cigar stub always in the corner of his mouth.

I haven't watched every episode, but the warden seems to have some conscience to begin with as he wasn't inclined to ship Scofield off. Then he caved to being strong-armed. Wasn't it following that scene (keeping Scofield) that he 'fessed up to his wife? I didn't think his wife's life was being threatened, more that they'd tell her about the deceased son and that would threaten his life with her. Kyt
