I was remembering him from Band of Brothers, in which he was amazing, playing a big tough sargent with a wicked grin and a cigar stub always in the corner of his mouth. Right -- we're thinking alike again. He played Bull in BoB. And I, too, remember reading about the body tattoo that it lasts about a week and they have to reapply it. But I wonder if they do the WHOLE thing if the script only calls for showing his arms.

I didn't know it stayed on a week! Wow. I've wondered if they do the whole thing even if they don't end up showing it all too. How would you like having the job of applying all his body art for each episode? I think a lot of people wouldn't mind.

It's on tonight!! I'm not down on TV or anything like that, but I must say it's really nice to look forward to a show as much as I've been looking forward to part two of last week's cliffhanger. They left us with Marty--I mean Nick--possibly on the right side and getting ready to head over to DC with Veronica to try and find a new way of proving Linc couldn't be guilty. T-Bag is out of the infirmary and has a new "gift" waiting for him in his cell. I have a feeling that poor boy may end up being important tonight, but I could be wrong. Nick and Veronica are sent out because of the riot that was caused by Michael killing the AC in order to get a lock-down so he can have more time to drill through a wall with an eggbeater. Linc is escorted out by Newbie CO (do they really grab prisoners by the pits like that? I hope they keep lots of anti-bacterial hand wash on hand, especially in that heat) who he tries to convince to look tougher because things are getting ugly. Meanwhile, Sucre (who is becoming a better character every week, in my opinion) has to be convinced that it's not bad luck to drill into the Devil Map on the wall and the good doctor is trapped in a very dangerous place with prisoners who have heard about the riot and have decided they haven't had their way with a woman in quite some time. T-Bag drags Newbie CO into Michael's cell to rape him ("Don't worry. My pipes are clean!") and *gasp!* they find out about the hole behind the sink! The CO looks like a goner and so does T-Bag but Michael orders Abruzzi not to kill them. Now that Abruzzi has a couple of Michael's toes in a box, he obliges. Linc is being led away by the guy who has been ordered to kill him by Evil Martha Stewart of the Wilderness and Michael is off to go rescue the good doctor who is getting very close to all sorts of badness. TO BE CONTINUED... So, ready to watch tonight?

The FX channel is running all the Prison Break episodes this afternoon, in case anyone wants to catch up. And there's a repeat tomorrow (Monday) at 8 with a new episode at 9. Mags will be watching...

Did anyone see that lame special "Prison Break : behind the walls?" That was the mostly thinly disguised hour long commercial for the program I have ever seen! I tuned in thinking it would be some new material, but was just a recap of the plot, with clips and the odd interview. I think after the long break they are trying to get viewers interested again. And the commercials! It was like watching BJ again, every few minutes! I felt insulted, and shouldn't have watched until the end (My bad). Maybe this belongs in the rant section! :-) Anyway, love the show, but this "special" was a waste of time.

I caught a few minutes of that special, but it was on at the same time as the Prison Break marathon over on FX--the riot one, to be specific--so I found the real thing much more compelling. Wow. Even better the second time around.

I just found this at TVGuide.com:
SENTENCED TO SUMMER: Fox has finally announced when Prison Break will return to the schedule following its fall finale on Nov. 28 — and it blows. The network has decided to hold the show's nine remaining episodes until (gulp) May! Fox scheduling chief Preston Beckman tells USA Today that "the appeal of creatively bringing it back later in the year outweighs the disruption it would cause" to try to bring it back sooner. I wonder what kind of disruption a few million phone calls of protest would cause over at Fox's Culver City headquarters? You with me, guys?
I'm glad it's coming back and that it's popular and everything but...doesn't this seem like pretty shabby treatment for a show that has been such a success? How irritating. I'll try and stay positive here...at least we'll have something good to watch over the summer.

I agree, shabby treatment.
I am tired of all these breaks in shows! (here's my rant). I seem to remember "in the old days" (like, even only 5-10 years ago!) shows ran from Sept-Oct to about April-May, with only sometimes a small break at Christmas.
Now, sometimes things don't even begin until Oct/Nov, take long breaks all the time, and seem to end earlier each year.
What is up, programmers?

Well, this has really left me scratching my head. Are they going to run repeats in March and April, so we'll remember the story by the time sweeps start in May? Did this Preston guy used to work at ABC? His thought process would indicate so..

Did this Preston guy used to work at ABC? His thought process would indicate so.. It's all because of sweeps and you're right -- it blows. Plus they have a season of 24 ready for that time slot, as if anyone would care after Prison Break. Phone calls? Waste of money! Haven't we all learned that lesson yet, that network programmers do what they want?

So...Jim Dunbar isn't the only one to look tasty in a the garment that shall not be named! Great scene. Nick gets to show off his lovely physique and he tells Veronica off. Great episode, by the way. I'm incredibly hooked at this point. Maybe next time we get to see more of Nick, he won't be so bloody. But I guess he's lucky not to be in worse shape after this:

I, too, liked the scene where Nick confronted Veronica about her suspicions. But somehow I couldn't help thinking of Marty. . . .

I don't want to ruin it for people in other time zones but...
MICHAEL GASTON!!!!!
Wow! I really want to know what you guys thought of his character. I didn't know he had it in him. I am in awe. He was great as Fisk, but wait until you meet Quinn. Whoa!

More proof, as though we needed it, that the Blind Justice cast was chock full of terrific, versatile actors. Michael Gaston as a smiling, shambling, oh-so-friendly finger-breaking killer. Wow indeed. But those previews of next week's episode made me very nervous. Veronica and L. J., battered and trussed up in the cabin, and Nick nowhere in sight? Plus Quinn is bloodied, which implies that there was a struggle and he won. Fisk kills Russo? Eek.
