Eeek! There was a glitch over at fanfiction.net and several paragraphs were missing from Chapter 6. I have finally figured out how to fix it so if any of you thought the story made no sense, please check back and see that I really did write in complete thoughts. Thank you mlm and longlashes for pointing out the glitch in the first place! I'm really glad you said something.

Got past those missing thoughts and repeat paragraphs - and kept right on reading! I left feedback for you at FanFiction but I also wanted to post it here to let you know that this story is so great! Your method of writing flows so easily, the relationships are true to character, you have tied it all back to the last Episode - and you have certainly left us in anticipation of more! So please keep writing - this is, for lack of a better word - so awesome!

Ah, Shmeep, you've done it again. Girl, can you write dialogue or what?! So true, so wonderful, and we are finally seeing the nice Christie, the compassionate and understanding woman Our Hero deserves. Or is the extra hormones and one day she'll revert to the Ice Princess? Or will she develop post-partum depression and Jimmy will have to do all the diapering?! Do you suppose after the girls are born (please don't give them trendy Tiffany names -- the Dunbars are classy so let's stick to old-fashioned monikers like Emily and Rebecca and Katherine and Alice and Jane and Elaine), that Jim's Archie Bunker of a father will fall in love with the little beauties and come around? I don't mean Archie Bunker in that he's a bigot -- I mean the man is unenlightened, to say the least! But a perfect character to ramp up the drama, and keep things tense. Which we love. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks! I just checked and it looks like those same paragraphs are still missing--and that was after I deleted the entire thing and resubmitted it three times. I'm not sure what's going on at that website but I'm hoping the "uncut" version comes online and that we are just experiencing a delay because I hate to see all those paragraphs missing. It makes no sense right now so I apologize.
And Mags...I like your name choices, particularly the last two.
Any other baby name suggestions are welcome, by the way.

I'll name one Marlo or Lucy; you name the other one.
Now that I think about it, I already picked the names: Marlo AND Lucy
Later, Carl

So, O Mighty Shmeep, I have a suggestion. I have dial-up and it is sometimes slow to load the fanfic site on top of this one using the link-- so why don't you start a thread over here where we all LOVE you and repost all six chapters, where we can dip into them and resavor them any time we visit Beyond Justice? Huh, huh, huh, huh? Aw, come on -- it'll be great! Plus, I have to say that the fanfic site typestyle and format is not as easy on the eyes as this board -- the lines are too wide and the print is too small. You'd be doing us all a favor!!! Yeah, I like those last two names too.

The corrected version has now appeared. I thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment. Thanks, shmeep, for persevering.
What a great character you've created in Jim's dad -- infuriating, but a great character nonetheless. After meeting him, it's easy to understand why Jim is not always as enlightened as he could be.

It's even better with those missing lines. I thought it was just a typo before.

Shmeep... This story is just amazing! You have no idea how much I wish this show would be resurrected with you employed as one of the writers! Keep it coming! Here are my suggestions:
For a baby name: Meredith. My all time fave girl's name. (I only have one to suggest).
My other suggestion has nothing to do with the name: Please do not EVER end the story!!! Just keep it going on and on and on and on...... so it'll feel like the series never ended and never will end! (Well, I guess if you get REALLY sick and tired of writing it, it could end once my adorable children stick me in a home... say, 30 years from now). Okay?
Thanks for the pleasure of reading the ongoing drama of our precious Jimmy D!

I'll have to think about that. We haven't been posting any fanfic over here (not an intentional choice, but there is so much of it on other sites that it didn't seem necessary) so I don't know if I want to open that whole can of worms. I guess if enough people want it, I don't mind doing it. As for the font at fanfiction.net, there is a way to adjust it to make the letters much larger if you like. When you first open a story, look at the top right corner of your screen and you will see some Bs and some As. Click on the big B a few times and the font will become larger and bolder and much easier to read than even this board. Just FYI.

Any other baby name suggestions are welcome, by the way. I'm partial to the old-fashioned names. How about Rebecca and Elizabeth? Another option would be to use the names of characters in the show. Of course, most of them are crime victims or criminals, so you may not want to name the babies after them. Some characters' names that I can remember are: Kim, Paula, Lynn, Allison, Nancy, Cheryl, Jill, Linda, Debbie, Meg, and, of course, everyone's favorites, Mary Beth and Letitia.
