I'm guessing that we're thinking along the same lines, and my line of work is quite different from yours! We were wrong, Krissie, so much for our abilities to imagine what Natascha has in mind what if they never find the dad? What if he didn't do it? What if the parents have been killed too?... It's a bit worrying that YOU are asking those questions, you're the one writing the story But wherever the story takes you, I'm sure it will be another great fan fic from you maybe TBC *You think I should? If you don't, I'm coming after you with a baseball bat! Argh, this is good. ;D Good, Kasman, after all, you are the one closest to her geographically (but be nice, no real damage to Natascha, she is so lovely and a great fan fic writer ;D) Do continue your story, please, no matter how the ending, I would still like to know what happens. - Chris

maybe TBC *You think I should? Yes, please do! There are way too many good Blind Justice stories left unfinished. Please don't let this be another one.

I'm thinking Lola would find it hard to resist the old Dunbar charm, should Jim be tempted to return to his bad, bad ways. I want to see what happens!

We were wrong, Krissie, so much for our abilities to imagine what Natascha has in mind Ah, but what a pleasure it is to be wrong is such good company! Ashatan: you are the reason I was late to work this morning. I couldn't resist reading part two! To be fair, I was running late anyway, so I can't lay all the blame for my tardiness at your door. Plus, this wasn't an in-trouble-because-I-was-late kind of late. I just got in rather later than is my norm. And the lateness was definitely worth it! I love the way you have Jim interacting with the kids. I can really imagine this, from the way we saw him act with the Crider boy in the series. As for the whole 'TBC - do you think I should?' thing... Yes, you jolly well should! Krissie

Yes, you absolutely have to finish it!!!! Okay, no pressure. Backing off now. Jim being a tad harsh with the doctor, reminding him that he and Karen weren't the parents but the cops investigating the case, seemed to me his way of divorcing himself from the horrors of the abuse. And the painful memories of his own stay in the hospital coming to the surface again... Please continue, please, pretty please

You are so good at writing fight scenes! I could visualize it easily and flinched at the thought of Jim getting beat up. On the other hand, I cheered when Jim got the perp. CSU poo? haha LOL! I still am! That is too funny. All the questions at the end remind me of the old Batman show only that was corny and this is great. Hope you don't keep us waiting too long to find the answers to all those questions!

Just a minor point here, the forensics team don't tape or chalk around body outlines these days. They rely on photos and markers, I believe. This is because the tape can destroy valuable evidence and trace. These days, the only taped/chalked body outlines are on TV or where some ignorant bystander has done the marking.

Oh my, poor Hank. Wow, this is good Natasha, and looking forward to seeing what happens, next. Reminded me of the old "Soap" series at the end of the chapter with all those questions.....just needed a little goofy music playing in the background.

I know, , I was searching for ways to get my joke in about CSU poo! And it was the best I could come up with. I thought I could stretch the truth a bit like they did with polaroid cameras.

It seems that there will be no need for you to bring your baseball bat to Melbourne, Kasman ;D stay tuned... in the next chapter... You bet we wil!!!! Hank finally got to prove that he too can be a mean Police Dawg, hopefully the repercussions won't be too serious But look at him, so sweet, you can't possibly punish him I promised Hank I would karma you - he would really like to stay on your good side ;D Take care and keep smiling - Chris

Doesn't he look lugubrious? Most German Shepherds I've met have looked sharp and mean, but ol' Hank always looks a little floppy around the jowls to me. Plus those dark markings around where his eyebrows would be if he were human... They make him look so melancholy. (Altogether now, one, two, three: Awwww.) Ash... I've started work on a bunch of 'Safe Hank' placards, if we need to picket outside of City Hall. Just so you know. Seriously... Another fantastic part... one which made me go: 'Wow!' closely followed by 'I certainly wasn't expecting that'. I'm going to have to karma you, just because... Krissie
