You mean I have to read it again? Seriously, mags, I loved the changes, especially the repartee between Jim and the doc.

I have to read it again too? Well, I did ask for mor fanfic. This is almost the same as getting more. It's been a hell of a rotten day so maybe this will cheer me up. (I guess technically, the rotten day was over 20 minutes ago. Still.....)

Loved the one liner by Jim about the doc failing because he couldn't see. Made me smile--for a second. Sorry to be such a downer today.

I have been remiss in not commenting on you revised story. What can I say--loved it before and love it now! Especially Jim's quip to the doc. The old Dunbar humor at it again.

Karma? (and yes, I know I have left you hanging re my fic, I haven't forgotten about it, just didn't have the time and energy to finish it, sorry) - Chris

Apologies and mea culpa to you all! Where does the time go??? It's been over a year and I truly owe you the last chapter of "Again." I had wanted to finish it and post it for the anniversary of the Blind Justice premiere back in March but Life (with a capital L) just keeps getting in the way.
I'd have to go back and read it all again to give myself a refresher course.
And I'm wondering . . . do any of you out there have some suggestions about how you'd like to see it end?
Thanks!
Mags

Well, I read Again again, and -- wow. I'd forgotten how good it is. There's a lot of interesting stuff going on -- not only Jim's recovery and whether he goes back on the job, but also the conflict between Karen and Marty, and maybe some Jim-Christie angst as well. Is the issue of the gun going to come up again? And what role is Miss Mary going to play in all this?
I've shared some ideas privately, and I only hope Life won't interfere again, and you might finally be able to finish the story.

Really? Sure, how cool - author determines storyline course pursuant to reader feedback - unique I would have thought? M Hmmm . . . well . . . I have always known how I wanted "Again" to end, but how to get there? Opening a dialog on this board has always been helpful to those of who try their best to write creative and "on point" fic that expresses the characters we all know so well, their true natures, and the possibilities inherent in their situations as written by Bochco & Co. ;D So thanks, and especially to mlm, whose comments and suggestions have already sent me in another direction. And here I was thinking that I could polish off this baby is one more chapter. Heh! Not so, and yes, mlm, we really do need one more scene with the indefatigable Miss Mary. So my "thinking cap" is on. Maybe a Thanksgiving treat, or a Christmas present? Thanks, as always, for your support.

Yeah yeah yeah more Miss Mary she's a cracker. Really rounded character and such an old-time journalist (we woud say here)/reporter I think in your terminology?
I like the whole girl bonding thing between the three of them.
And I like the Terry thing. The man really needs to confront it and stop living in denial so maybe something there?
What a treat.
