Mlm, Karma for yet another great lunch-time read! Thanks for providing me with so much quality entertainment. I'm still intrigued and wondering where this is all heading. I appreciate that you are able to write so much so quickly. This story is truly inspired.

Amen, amen, amen. I'm burning to know how everything is going to play out . . . but I don't want it to end. The best yet, mlm88.

Reading right along....I really can't wait to find out how all this is connected because it must be. Jim must be going through hell just going to work. I've worked in situations like that and it's no picnic. Glad to see he hasn't lost his fight and that everyone--even Marty-- has his back.
Sigh. Monday is so far away.

Mlm88, with "Meet the New Boss" you have taken the entire genre of fic to a new level -- this is a novel, and a bloody good one at that!

I'm enjoying this story hugely.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you bring all the threads together. To that end, I was delighted to see Jim meeting up with the folk from the Eighth in part seven. So good to see that they are all worried about him.
Thank you for the regular updating on this fic, too. Lovely.

WOW!!!I won't say anything because I don't want to be a spoiler for those who haven't read the latest chapter -- except BRILLIANT! This is so well plotted and all the pieces are really starting to fall into line, like moving the panels of a Rubik's Cube into position. I love the way you use the dialogue to advance the plot, and all the characters ring true. Also love the nasty little way Krause keeps after Jim without doing anything to-o-o-o-o overt, just those cutting jabs here and there. If the universe ever shifts on its axis and this show ever goes back into production (I know, I know, I'm hallucinating) I think you have one helluva script to present to Bochco & Co. Maybe a two-parter? Too bad Kevin Spacey doesn't do TV any more -- he'd be the perfect smarmy Phil Krause.

I will simply quote BJO: AHHHHHHHHH!!! I can't stand it. This is sooo good and I'm sooo glad you post regularly. It reminds me of "Soap" Will Dunbar get Krause? Or will Krause get Dunbar first? Did Greene do it or was it someone else? Will Dunbar get back to The 8th? Will Hank hook up with the cute poodle next door? And where is Christie in all this? - These questions and many others will be answered in the next episode of Meet the New Boss Take care and keep smiling, I will now go back to actually working - Chris

Compelling, as usual! It sounds like they have it all figured out, but I'm guessing there's still a surprise or two to come. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
