Maggie, you got me all excited. When I saw your post, I thought there was a new chapter. Oh well. Hopefully after the new year. Hint hint hint.

That warms my heart. Well, I finished writing the next chapter just before I left for my trip and I emailed it to myself so I could post it from here at my parents' house. Unfortunately, my brother's stupid computer won't open the file, so I had Kenina send her copy to my other email address in case that would make a difference and I still couldn't open it from here. She can't post it because hers is with her comments on it and without my changes so it's not quite ready to go. So sorry. There's a chance I can pick it up from someone else's computer, but if I can't, I will after the new year when I get home. I'm frustrated because I really wanted to get it up before Christmas, but without a cooperative computer, this just wasn't possible. My apologies.

Just one more thing to look forward to.

Hey! I figured out a way to trick my brother's computer into giving up the story. Aren't I smart? I just posted Chapter 16 over at www.fanfiction.net/s/2561502/16/ and I'm about to post it here. Thanks for motivating me!

Oh wow, shmeep, that was beautiful. It was so neat that all the squad was involved in getting Christie to the hospital. I loved it and especially Jim getting to know the babies, and asking Christie about their hair color, and 'weighing them". Loved it. Merry Chrismas to you , too.

Oh my gosh! How did I miss this post? I could have read it yesterday! Oh well. It was awesome! I too love how everybody was involved in getting Christie to the hospital. I was laughing through that whole section, picturing them all running around and the police escort too.
I have to say that I got kind of emotional when the twins were born too. This is the one time I really felt sorry that Jim couldn't see. But, I know he'll find other ways to "see" them.
Loved the whole thing!
Happy New Year.

I was thrilled that the twins were born healthy, no complications. I also was laughing with the squad--only Karen and Tom being relatively calm. Wonder what Jim will come up with to tell them apart--braille bracelets???

Thanks for the new chapter, but with all the different fanfic plots, I had forgotten this one had Christie pregnant. I kept thinking that Karen was preggers. So this was a real surprise.

I forgot to add that I love the twins' names! So many people tend to give twins names that rhyme, I'm glad that you didn't. Shows that they are truly individuals.

Playing catch up here - Shmeep, it's wonderful, but I had absolutely no doubt it would be. I wondered when you started Expectations if the birth of the babies would herald the end to this wonderful story. But there are many expectations left to be addressed and with all the different lines you've drawn, there is still so much left to do. I can't wait until you tug the heartstrings again with the strong visuals born by your words. You have become an expert crafter at capturing the best of these characters.
